Stumptown (OR) Boys, Run Brave (ID) Girls US#1 as NXV Championship Week Looms
Stumptown Running XC Club currently has their top five runners placed in the top 41 nationally, with their sixth and seventh runners all within the top 50.
Carmel XC Club (IN) held onto their US#3 spot, heading into Week #7 with 245 points.
In the girls team race, Run Brave XC Club (ID) extended their lead over US#2, Ridgewood XC Club (NJ), 129-163, looking in a great spot heading into the final week of competition before NXV Championship Week.
Stumptown Running XC Club (OR) jumped into the top three nationally, earning a US#3 mark with 177 points behind a strong team performance over last weekend.
A week after losing the top spot individually, Tatum David (So., IMG Academy XC Club, FL) regained the US#1 position with a 16:33 5k effort. Mia Barnett (Sr., Crescenta Valley, CA) slid down one spot to US#2 with her 16:38 mark last week, while Chloe Foerster (So., Stumptown Running XC Club, OR) moved up in the top 10 to US#3 with a 16:50 performance last weekend.
