Belen Jesuit Prep XC Club (FL) One Point Ahead of Stumptown Running XC Club(OR) Boys, Run Brave XC Club (ID) Continues to Roll on Girls Side
The boys team race is incredibly tight after Week #4 of Nike Cross Virtual (NXV), while the girls side continues to be dominated up top by both incredible team and individual performances!
Leading the boys rankings for weeks now, Belen Jesuit Prep XC Club (FL) now holds a mere one point lead over Stumptown Running XC Club (OR), 151-152. Both squads are making a case for why they should be the top-ranked team in the country, as the leaderboard standings continue to shift. Carmel XC Club (IN) sits US#3 yet again, this time with 178 points.
On the girls side, Run Brave XC Club (ID) is showing no signs of slowing down, owning a 89-130 advantage over US#2 Chicago Latin XC Club (IL). As on the boys side, US#3 IMG Academy XC Club holds their place in the standings for another week, coming in with 177 points overall.
Tatum David (So., IMG Academy XC Club, FL) continues to lead the way nationally , while Angelina Perez (Jr., Lakeland Regional XC Club, NJ) holds on to her US#2 spot, just ahead of freshman Tori Livingstone (Fr., Kincaid XC Club, TX), who jumped to the third spot with a 16:57 5k effort this past weekend.
On the boys side, the individual rankings were shook up in a big way this past weekend, as Mount Tabor XC Club (OR) teammates Charlie North and Charlie Robertson jumped to US#1 and US#2, with impressive 14:38 and 14:40 performances on Saturday. Last week's US#1, Jack Scherer (Sr., Unattached - WI), still comes in at US#3 after his impressive performance earlier in the month.
