Nike Cross Virtual (NXV) - Week #5 Recap

Stumptown XC Club (OR) Boys Move to US#1, Ridgewood XC Club (NJ) Girls Vault to US#2
After weeks of Belen Jesuit Prep XC Club (FL) leading the boys team race, Nike Cross Virtual (NXV) has a new US#1 boys squad in Stumptown Running XC Club (OR), who used a fantastic race over the weekend to comfortably move into the top spot with a 111-181 advantage over Belen Jesuit Prep XC Club, who now sit US#2.
Carmel XC Club (IN) maintained their US#3 position with 208 points, inching closer to moving up a spot in the leaderboard, while La Grange XC Club (IL) held onto US#4 with 236 points and Mount Tabor XC Club (OR) jumped into the rankings at US#5 with 257 points.
Mount Tabor XC Club teammates Charlie North and Charlie Robertson maintained their US#1 and US#2 positions in the individual leaderboard, while Jack Scherer IV (Sr., Unattached - WI) held onto his US#3 spot.
On the girls side, Run Brave XC Club (ID) held onto the US#1 spot for the fifth straight week, however, Ridgewood XC Club (NJ) made a move into the rankings in a big way, rising all the way up to US#2, with Run Brave XC Club holding a 111-139 advantage. US#3 Chicago Latin XC Club (IL) continues to show well at US#3 with 163 points.
Individually, Mia Barnett (Sr., Crescenta Valley, CA) took over the top spot nationally with a 16:38 5k performance last weekend. Tatum David (So., IMG Academy XC Club, FL) and Angelina Perez (Jr., Lakeland Regional XC Club, NJ) sit at US#2 and US#3 respectively.
