Rowan FitzGerald, a junior from Crescenta Valley High competing as an individual qualifier from California in the Nike Cross Virtual championship week, covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:48.2 at Central Park in Santa Clarita, Calif. FitzGerald placed 33rd overall, including 10th among all individuals competing.
